Color Trends for Summer
Color trends always seem to get brighter and bolder in the summer, and I am here for it! The color reports for this season seem to be going back to the basics- primary colors red, yellow, and blue are all over! Along with the brights are some other summer-themed hues. Here is a list of some of the most popular colors of the season, with ways to use them in your event.
Cherry Red makes your wedding pop! This bride wore a bright red dress, a captivating and unique choice. Touches of red were seen in the florals and rentals, it added to the fun feel of the venue and set the tone for a romantic night.
Yellow, or Meadowlark as Pantone calls it, is all over the runways this season. Variations of yellow can be brought into décor, as a primary color it goes with many other colors easily. Yellow evokes feelings of joy, reminding everyone of lovely sunny days.
Baby blue was a classic choice for this sweet baby shower. The color appeared in everything from the table setting to the party favors, bracelets made with beads each guest picked out for themselves. Baby blue could also be added to weddings or birthday parties, because it is so versatile and dainty.
Blooming Dahlia, also known as the ever so popular millennial pink, is a sweet summery color. Blush tones fit well with a rustic vibe or a classic vibe. This wedding used it as a signature color, and pink featured in the ceremony and reception décor.
Clean, crisp white is timeless and elegant. It is a perfect color for summer weddings, and pairs well with lots of greenery. To add it to some event use florals, linens, or even food! A wedding cake in all white is traditional and makes for an exquisite focal point of your day.
Spring crocus is a toned down ultraviolet, which looks exactly like summer to me! The light purple makes me think of grape popsicles and seasonal flowers. This wedding used it as an accent to other bright colors, spring crocus is a great filler or it can stand on its own as a featured color.
