Want to know something?  I started in the industry long before Style Me Pretty and Pinterest.  Crazy, right?  When I first started designing we would make design boards using clippings from magazines, pieces of ribbon, cloth and other such trinkets to convey the way the ultimate design of how a clients wedding would feel.  I miss those days, sometimes.  Today we have everything that everyone has ever designed at our finger tips for making a design board.  We no longer have the quest of searching for that perfect color or item, because all we have to do is type it in and BAM! there you go.

So why am I telling you all this?  Because yesterday Style Me Pretty announced that they would be "closing" their blog/website and to be honest, I was at a loss of words.  My emotions were sort of everywhere as I talked to my industry friends to sort through "what happened?" and "what does this mean?"

"Even the most perfect of weddings must eventually come to a close. The same is true for us here at Style Me Pretty. After an incredible twelve years of sharing your beautiful weddings, we will close Style Me Pretty on April 30th."

The reality is, none of us knows what this will mean for weddings, events, our clients, promotional advertising and wedding blogs.  We had just had a wedding accepted for the front page of Style Me Pretty just under two weeks ago, and so I wonder how their employees are doing and handling the news...

We are honored to have been featured on Style Me Pretty over the past 12 years and so, because we want to go down memory lane one last time we thought we might share them with you.

Alfresco Feast was both featured and mentioned as a Party they wish they had been invited to in 2017!

There are many more, but these were a few that caught our eye as we said goodbye to Style Me Pretty.
