Changes and Mother Nature...

This year got off to a wild and sad start.  From a fire (Thomas Fire) that became the largest in California history to a city devastated by a mudslide, we have experienced and lived through a lot. And while mother nature is unpredictable, we still had events to produce and design.  Our first during the fires experienced both smoke and high speed winds that shook the tent walls and made the chandeliers swing.  We were so grateful to have Bella Vista Designs taking charge on the chandeliers and making sure they were secure during the super windy evening ahead.

The wedding was perfection and we couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out.

The following month we had a mudslide, and while we were safe, many of our neighbors were not as lucky.  The mudslide shutdown the 101.  This happened during a critical stage in our planning of the following wedding and without even thinking that our beloved Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara could be impacted, we soon learned the sad truth.  We set out to find a new venue, redesign and plan the following wedding in less than 30 days.  It is wonderful what an exceptional team of wedding professionals can do to, "make it happen".  We found a special place hidden in Agoura Hills, California called The Lodge at Malibou Lake.  The venue was recently redesigned and became our perfect place for Tami and Roy's wedding.  With only days to spare the entire team worked tirelessly on all the details and we are happy to report that it went off without a hitch!  We also discovered a fabulous new venue, which lends itself to whimsical, romantic and stunning views as far as the eye can see.
